This Podium review looks at what Podium includes, what it costs and when it makes sense for a home service business. Podium positions itself as an all-in-one lead and communication platform: reviews, a shared inbox, business phones, website chat, payments and text marketing, with an AI Employee that can answer and book. Everything below comes from Podium's pricing page as of October 1, 2026; we haven't run Podium in a live business.

Podium review: verdict in brief

Podium makes sense for contractors who get a lot of leads across phone, text and web chat and lose some of them to slow replies. It brings those channels into one inbox and adds review requests and payments on top. The trade-off is cost: at $399 a month for the entry plan, it's a significant line item for a small shop, and usage fees and limits need to be understood before you sign.

Podium pricing

Plan Listed price Highlights
Core $399/mo Lead conversion platform, review management with AI responses, basic automations and reporting, mobile app, 200+ integrations, dedicated customer success manager, 1-on-1 onboarding
Pro $599/mo Everything in Core plus AI Concierge, AI Reputation Specialist, AI call summaries, automatic lead routing, advanced automations, lead capture forms, surveys, text marketing with images, advanced segmentation, lower payment processing fees
Signature Custom Everything in Pro plus AI Scheduler, AI Salesperson, AI Marketer, multi-location management, discounts on phones and hardware, custom billing and processing rates

Each plan says "Talk to Sales", and the AI Employee can be added to any plan. Podium's FAQ says the monthly cost "may vary depending on your specific business needs", based on industry, partnerships, integrations, volume and carrier fees, and the Core card notes that HVAC businesses should contact sales for applicable pricing. Treat the listed prices as a starting point, not a quote.
