This NiceJob review covers what the software does, what each plan costs and who it fits. NiceJob is review and reputation software for local service businesses. Its job is narrow and clear: send review requests automatically after each job, show those reviews on your website, and turn happy customers into repeat business and referrals. This review covers what each plan includes and what it costs, based on NiceJob's pricing page as of October 1, 2026.

NiceJob review: verdict in brief

NiceJob is a good fit for contractors who want more Google reviews without doing it by hand, at a published price with no contract. It doesn't try to replace your field service software; it connects to field service and CRM tools through integrations. If you need texting, webchat and payments in one inbox, a broader platform like Podium is the other category to look at.

NiceJob pricing

Plan Price Best for
Starter $75/mo Growing reviews: requests, website widgets, social sharing
Pro $125/mo Reviews plus repeat business, referrals, email marketing and AI review replies
Sites (add-on) $99/mo + $199 setup A managed website

Prices are in USD. Both plans start with a 14-day free trial, there's no contract, and you can switch plans at any time. Enterprise, franchise and multi-location businesses get custom pricing.

What's in Starter

  • Reviews: automated review requests and follow-ups by text and email
  • Social Proof: review widgets for your website
  • Social Sharing: automatic posting of your best reviews to Facebook and X
  • Team Leaderboard: see which staff members bring in the most five-star reviews
  • Microsite: a dedicated reviews page for your business

For many contractors, Starter is the whole point of buying NiceJob: every completed job triggers a review request without anyone remembering to send it.

What Pro adds

  • Repeats: rebooking reminders by text and email based on the last service date
  • Referrals: campaigns asking happy customers to refer friends and family
  • Broadcasts: email marketing campaigns
  • AI Replies: automatic replies to reviews in your brand voice
  • Gifts: automated thank-you gifts (Jobber or QuickBooks integration only)
  • NPS Surveys: loyalty scores after each service
  • Competitive Intel: tracking of competitors' reviews and local SEO

In our view, Repeats is the most useful Pro feature for service trades with recurring work, such as HVAC tune-ups, pest control, lawn care and cleaning.

Using NiceJob within Google's rules

Automated review requests are allowed. Two things are not, under Google's review policies:

  • Incentives for reviews. Don't promise gifts, discounts or entries into a prize draw in exchange for a review. If you use NiceJob's Gifts feature, keep it as a thank-you for being a customer, not a reward for reviewing.
  • Review gating. Don't send review links only to customers who said they were happy. Ask every customer the same way.
  • Pressure. Google also says businesses shouldn't require or pressure customers to leave reviews on the spot, or ask them to include specific content. Ask politely and let them write what they want.

Our guide to getting more Google reviews covers timing, templates and the FTC's rules as well.

Pros

  • Published pricing, no contract, 14-day free trial
  • Focused on one job and simple to understand
  • Review requests by both text and email
  • Starter covers the core need without paying for marketing features you may not use

Cons

  • Focused on reviews and repeat/referral marketing; the pricing page lists no phone system, shared texting inbox or payments
  • The website add-on costs extra and has a setup fee
  • The Gifts feature only works with Jobber or QuickBooks

NiceJob vs. Podium

NiceJob is a dedicated review and referral tool from $75 a month. Podium is a broader communication platform (reviews plus phones, texting, webchat, payments and AI) with listed plans from $399 a month and a final price set with its sales team. Read our Podium review if you want those extra channels in one place.

If you already use field service software, check whether it has review requests built in first. Housecall Pro, for example, includes review management on every plan (see our Housecall Pro review). A dedicated tool like NiceJob makes most sense when you want more control over requests, widgets and referral campaigns than your field software offers.
