Roofing estimate software starts with measurements. Climbing every roof with a tape is slow and risky, so many roofers now order aerial measurement reports or draw roofs on aerial imagery, then turn the measurements (squares, pitch, and edges like ridges, hips and valleys) into material lists and proposals. Choosing roofing estimating software comes down to how you want to pay for measurements and how much of the sales process you want in the same tool.

Prices below are from each vendor's pricing page as of October 1, 2026. We compare published plans; we haven't run each tool on live jobs.

Other add-ons include an Instant Estimator for homeowners on your website ($149/mo, or $125/mo billed yearly), Roofr Sites and an AI receptionist (each $99/mo, or $85/mo billed yearly). Every plan includes unlimited users.

Best for: residential roofers who want measurements, proposals and payments in one place, starting free and upgrading as volume grows.

RoofSnap

RoofSnap offers two ways to pay:

  • Pay-as-you-go: no subscription. Half Snap reports start at $13; full residential reports are $35–$55 depending on size.
  • Subscription: from $105 a month per user on monthly billing. Annual pricing drops by team size: $78/mo per user for 2–4 users, $61 for 5–9 and $52 for 10 or more. Subscribers pay less per report ($10 for a Half Snap, $11–$37 for full residential).

Subscribers get five HD roof images a month (plus 240 bonus images per user on annual plans), unlimited draw-it-yourself measurements, an estimating and material ordering suite, and in-app deposits and payments. There's a 7-day free trial without a credit card.

Best for: roofers who measure many roofs themselves and want the per-report cost as low as possible.

AccuLynx

AccuLynx is a roofing business platform covering sales and CRM, production, finance and reporting, used by established roofing companies. It does not publish prices; its pricing page asks you to request pricing from its team.

Best for: roofing companies with sales reps, production managers and enough volume to justify a full platform. Ask in the demo about per-user pricing, contract length and which measurement providers integrate.

Best roofing CRM: what to look for

If you're choosing a roofing CRM rather than just a measurement tool, look at:

  • Job boards and stages that match your sales and production process
  • Proposals and e-signatures the homeowner can sign on a phone
  • Payments and deposits collected in the same system
  • Automations for follow-ups on unsigned proposals
  • Reporting on close rates and revenue per rep

Roofr covers these at published prices on Essentials and Scale; AccuLynx covers a broader production and finance workflow at a quoted price.

How to choose roofing estimate software

The best roofing software for your company depends on volume and how much of the sales process you want in one tool:

  1. Count roofs per month. At low volume, pay-as-you-go reports (Roofr Starter or RoofSnap) are cheapest. At higher volume, a subscription lowers the per-report price.
  2. Decide whether you'll draw roofs yourself. Both tools support DIY measurements; RoofSnap includes unlimited DIY on its subscription.
  3. Decide how much CRM you need. If proposals, e-signatures and payments are the bottleneck, Roofr Essentials covers them at a listed price. If you need production scheduling and sales-team management, evaluate AccuLynx.
  4. Check the homeowner experience. Send yourself a proposal from each free plan or trial and see what the customer sees on their phone.
