Choosing the best plumbing software starts with how plumbing companies work: they live on the phone. A large share of calls are urgent, a missed call goes to the next plumber on Google, and the day's schedule changes every time a slab leak or a backed-up main comes in. Good plumbing software makes it fast to book, dispatch, quote and get paid, while keeping the schedule under control.

Prices below come from each vendor's pricing page as of October 1, 2026. We compare published plans; we haven't run each product in a live plumbing business.

What the best plumbing software needs to do

  • Fast booking and dispatch for emergency calls, with techs' locations visible
  • Flat-rate pricing so techs quote consistently in the field
  • Estimates with options for water heaters, repipes and sewer work
  • Payments on site and consumer financing for larger jobs
  • Service plans for drain maintenance or water heater flush programs
  • Photos, notes and checklists on every job, which help with warranty claims and disputes

Housecall Pro

Basic is $59/mo billed annually (1 user), Essentials $149 (5 users) and MAX $299 (8 users). For plumbers, Essentials adds flat-rate pricing, routing, GPS and photo reports, and MAX adds recurring service plans and a proposal tool. Online booking that customers can use from Google is included from Basic. See our Housecall Pro review.

Best for: residential plumbing companies with up to about eight users.

Kickserv

Kickserv's Start plan is $60/mo billed annually ($75 monthly) for 5 users, Run $119 ($149) for 10 users and Scale $199 ($249) for 20 users, with a 30-day free trial. Run adds dispatch mapping and GPS check-ins. An optional "Kickback" program takes 5% off the subscription if you process a minimum amount in online payments each month.

Best for: small plumbing shops that want many users at a low price.

Service Fusion

Every Service Fusion plan includes unlimited users: Starter $208/mo billed annually ($245 monthly), Plus $325 ($382) and Pro $533 ($627). Plus adds job costing, inventory, job photos and integrated voice and text, which matter for plumbers who stock trucks and take calls on the go. Pro adds a customer portal, eSign and recurring invoicing.

Best for: plumbing companies with a bigger team where per-user pricing would add up.

Workiz

Workiz publishes features but not prices. Its Ultimate plan includes service plans, sales proposals, flat-rate pricing, checklists and inventory, plus 30 automations. Its Genius Phone system is sold separately. Ask for a quote on the tier you need.

Best for: plumbing companies that want heavy automation and don't mind demo-based pricing.

ServiceTitan

ServiceTitan prices per technician on request. Starter includes call booking, dispatching, scheduling, invoicing and pricebook; mobile estimates start at Essentials; memberships are in The Works. In our view it fits plumbing companies with CSRs and a dispatcher. See our ServiceTitan pricing guide.
